The artisan craftsmanship extends much further than hand-applied mosaic tiles. Each clock is made of a cast iron base, molded using the ancient crucible method. The decorative mosaic glass contains jewel toned underlayment that is hand dyed and cut in an intricate triangular pattern. Sheeted glass is fused to the shiny jewel tone underlayment , and each piece is hand cut into one cm scalene triangular mosaic tiles. Each delicate glass bead is hand molded and applied to the clock’s bezel frame. The centered, mechanical clock presents the best of classical finishing touches - a genuine glass dome clock face, rare and incredibly chic. The beautiful glass tile mosaic pattern is an aesthetic wonder, featuring over 1,500 luminous tiles. This artisanal handicraft extends far beyond being 'just a clock.'
